The Weekly MMA Technique is back.  This week's technique is the triangle choke.  The triangle was first developed by the Kamakura samurai back in the 13th century.  You will this technique used a lot in UFC, Dream, and BJJ matches.  Here are some useful videos I found online.  I would like to say a huge thank you to folks at Submissions 101: your videos are awesome and I improved my game by leaps and bounds.

Hey Everyone,
I am launching a new weekly feature on this blog.  I will be putting videos from some of my favorite shows on food or the martial arts for your viewing pleasures.  Most of these videos are taken from Youtube.

The first food show I want to feature is Jamie Oliver's 30 Minute Meals.  Jamie makes meals that can be completed within a half an hour.  I love to take ideas from this show and tweak them in my own style of cooking.

Chocolate Heaven at Takashimaya!!

    Valentine's Day is just around the corner!!  Takashimaya is holding their annual event "Amour Du Chocolate".  If you want to buy something special for the special someone in your life or you want to indulge in some fine-crafted gourmet chocolate, this is the event for you.

     Chefs from around the area and also around the world are at this even showing their wares.  Chocolate ranges from truffles from Godiva to matcha (green tea) chocolate to animal shaped chocolates.  Be warned though: this event gets very crowded especially on the weekends.
