Happy 4th of July!! Happy Independence Day!!
Even though I have been living in Japan for almost 11 years now, I am still from the United States of America and an American. I am first generation American. My parents immigrated to America from Eastern Europe. We are living the American Dream. We are living our own lives.
The USA is an interesting place. It is a place where you can speak your mind to a certain extent, listen to many different points of view, and be yourself.
