Magic Spice マジックスパイス in Osu, Nagoya

Are you looking for a spicy curry?  Are you tired of eating Indian, Thai, or Japanese curries?  Have you been to Indonesia and you are looking for a small memory trip back to the islands?  Then, you should definately go to Magic Spice in Osu.  Magic Spice is a speciality curry shop specializing in Indonesia Soto Ayam soup curry.

Magic Spice's first shop can be found in Sapporo, Hokkaido.  There are Magic Spice branches in Osaka, Tokyo, and Nagoya.

When looking at the exterior of Magic Spice, you feel that you are about enter a unique space.  You feel you that you will be entering a Hindu or Buddhist temple or some sort of hippy haven.

Magic Spice is located on Akamon street in Osu.  Look for the bright red building.

Here is the menu found at the Magic Spice in Osu.  Each Magic Spice has their own unique building.

Magic Spice is known for their Indonesian-styled soup curry called Soto Ayam.

Here is a list of the unique toppings that  you can add to your soup curry.  Note: that this list is only for the Nagoya branch of Magic Spice.

Here is the drink menu.  If you come for lunch, there is a free drink bar (think coffee, tea, or orange juice).

After you choose type of soup curry and toppings (if you want any), then you choose how spicy you want.  The spice level is choosen by levels of mediation.  The hottest is the Aumair.  When I went there, I chose the Nirvana level.  It was quite spicy.

Here is the soup curry that I had.  I choose to the "momo" soup curry.  Momo are Nepalese dumplings. Think gyoza (pot stickers)!!

Here is some more marketing that can be found at Magic Spice.

Also, I bought some Magic Spice Soup Curry caramels.  Think caramel with a hint of curry powder and ginger and then you will have the general taste of the caramels.

Here is a video that I took at Magic Spice.
